Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chardon). They strolled past the North Rangers with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 86-69. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Hilltoppers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why North lost, don't look at Nate Tadiello. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 28 points and 17 boards. The contest was Tadiello's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Nate Sagendorph, who posted 11 points.

Chardon's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 7-11. As for North, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chardon will welcome Mayfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chardon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverside at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. North is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54 points per game this season.
