Basketball Recap: Canyon Springs Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After flying high against La Puente on Thursday, Canyon Springs came back down to earth. The Canyon Springs Cougars fell to the Silverado Hawks 55-50. The Cougars have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Canyon Springs' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6. As for Silverado, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Canyon Springs will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Orange Vista at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Silverado, they will take on Beaumont at 4:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
