Preview: East Valley vs. West Valley
Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, East Valley should expect quite the challenge on Friday. The Eastside and Westside will square off when they and West Valley meet at 7:00 PM. West Valley will be strutting in after a victory while East Valley will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, West Valley beat Cheney 17-13 last Friday.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for East Valley, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to seven. They were dealt a punishing 14-54 loss at the hands of Clarkston.
West Valley had enough points to win and then some against East Valley the last time the two teams met, taking their contest 28-12. Will West Valley repeat their success, or does East Valley have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
