Basketball Recap: Sunnydale Academy Takes a Loss

Sunnydale Academy lost against Mid-Missouri HomeSchool back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The match between Sunnydale Academy and the Mid-Missouri HomeSchool Mavericks didn't end well, with Sunnydale Academy falling 42-28. Sunnydale Academy was down 41-16 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Mid-Missouri HomeSchool got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tara Marks out in front who posted eight points and four steals. Taylor Dorr was another key player, putting up six points and four steals.

Sunnydale Academy's record is now 0-2. As for Mid-Missouri HomeSchool, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-11 record this season.

Sunnydale Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Christian Fellowship at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Mid-Missouri HomeSchool, they are taking a road trip to square off against Applewood Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
