Soccer Game Preview: Tempe Prep vs. Chandler Prep

The Tempe Prep Knights are taking a road trip to square off against the Chandler Prep Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Tempe Prep came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-1 to Arete Prep. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Tempe Prep couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Abigail Greenwald, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Chandler Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Horizon Honors, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Chandler Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 158th, while Horizon Honors are ranked 48th).

Tempe Prep now has a losing record of 2-3-2. As for Chandler Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1.
