Soccer Recap: Lansdale Catholic Comes Up Short

Lansdale Catholic managed to slip by Phoenixville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Crusaders came up short against the Phantoms on Monday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Lansdale Catholic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 206th, while Phoenixville are ranked 70th).

Lansdale Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Phoenixville, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Lansdale Catholic will head out to face off against Germantown Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Phoenixville, they will face off against Upper Merion Area at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
