Grace Christian put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Palm Grove Christian Gators 61-40. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Will Hawes, who posted 21 points.

Despite the loss, Palm Grove Christian still got an impressive performance from Carter Baker, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds. Those 15 boards gave Baker a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Pitts, who went 5 for 10 en route to 11 points.

Grace Christian pushed their record up to 19-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Palm Grove Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grace Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against New Jerusalem Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grace Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully New Jerusalem Christian Academy likes a good challenge. As for Palm Grove Christian, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Community Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Palm Grove Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season.
