Union Local waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Bellaire Big Reds as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Jets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-20, 25-14.

Union Local can attribute much of their success to Brooklyn Burley, who had eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces Burley has posted over her last six games. Alli Kellaway also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Union Local's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Bellaire, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union Local will challenge New Lexington at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bellaire, they will head out to square off against Barnesville at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
