Basketball Recap: Clarksville Christian Takes a Loss

Clarksville Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Lighthouse Christian Lions , falling 66-24. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Centurions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-45 back in January.

Lighthouse Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kolby Matthews, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 boards. Matthews' evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Lucas Haymer was another key player, going 9 for 10 on his way to 21 points and eight rebounds.

Clarksville Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Lighthouse Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Clarksville Christian nor Lighthouse Christian have any future games scheduled.
