Basketball Recap: Parkville Comes Up Short

Parkville came up into this matchup off a tough 23-point loss last Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Loch Raven Raiders by a score of 40-38 on Friday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Loch Raven to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jadon Conteh, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Kensley Marcus, who earned 15 points.

Parkville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Loch Raven, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-9.

Coming up, Parkville will venture away from home to square off against Dulaney at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Loch Raven, they will host Chesapeake at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
