Palmer had won four straight games and Taytum Soppe-Cope did her part to make it five on Tuesday. The Terrors put the hurt on the Widefield Gladiators with a sharp 3-0 victory with plenty of help from Soppe-Cope, who had 11 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Palmer's got stronger as the match went on, holding Widefield to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 25-15.

Palmer's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Widefield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-6.
