Soccer Recap: Oak Grove Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Oak Grove fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against North Davidson on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Black Knights by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Oak Grove couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Katherine Lockamy, who's now up to 23 this season.

Oak Grove's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7-2. As for North Davidson, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

Oak Grove has already played their next contest, a 6-1 win against Ledford on the 30th. As for North Davidson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Asheboro on the 2nd.
