Basketball Recap: Greenforest Extends Home Winning Streak to 13

Greenforest extended their home winning streak to 13 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Aminata Ndiaye. The Greenforest Eagles blew past the Towers Titans 72-32 on Monday thanks in part to Ndiaye, who went 16 of 22 en route to 36 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Zariya Baugh, who posted ten points. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

With the win, Greenforest broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-9. As for Towers, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenforest won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Utopian Academy for the Arts at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenforest is facing Utopian Academy for the Arts at the right time seeing as Utopian Academy for the Arts is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Towers, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge W D Mohammed at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
