Volleyball Recap: Adrian Triumphs

Adrian took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against St. Philip Catholic Central, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Maples narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Fighting Tigers 1-0. The Maples were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Fighting Tigers, so the Maples were just returning the favor.

Adrian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for St. Philip Catholic Central, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6-2.

Adrian has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Portland on the 20th. As for St. Philip Catholic Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Eaton Rapids on the 20th.
