Recap: Santa Fe Demons vs. Capital Jaguars
The Santa Fe Demons can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 28-21 victory over Capital. For Santa Fe, this counts as revenge for the 49-6 defeat Capital walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
When it comes to explaining why Capital lost, one person who can't be blamed is Elijah Rodriguez. Despite the final result, he picked up 95 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Rodriguez's longest reception was for an incredible 95 yards.
Santa Fe's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Capital, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-9.
Santa Fe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Capital also has no future games currently scheduled.
