Football Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Heritage's offense. They took a blow against the Warwick Raiders on Friday, falling 61-0. The Hurricanes haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Warwick, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage will square off against Denbigh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hurricanes will be up against the Patriots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Warwick, they will welcome Phoebus at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
