            Basketball Recap: Williamstown Blue Devils vs. West Rutland Golden Horde        
        
		
        
        
            It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Williamstown can now relate to. They took  a  55-38 bruising from the West Rutland Golden Horde on Monday. The  matchup marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.
Williamstown's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Nick Mascitti, who  posted five points and 13  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Evan Bailey, who  scored ten  points in addition to seven  boards and four  steals.
 Even though they lost, Williamstown  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 13  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 13  offensive rebounds in three consecutive  games.
