Amory has gone a perfect 10-0 against Shannon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Panthers will face off against the Red Raiders at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Amory and ten for Shannon.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Amory's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tishomingo County on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Shannon also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 15-0 to Itawamba Agricultural on Tuesday.

Amory's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Shannon, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Everything went Amory's way against Shannon in their previous matchup back in March, as Amory made off with a 16-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
