After a string of six wins, Washtenaw Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 55-47 to the Monclova Christian Academy Thunder. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Thunder earlier this season, when they won 69-68.

Monclova Christian Academy found their leader in freshman Kip Shank, who posted 28 points. Shank's morning made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Kentin Shank, who scored 12 points.

Washtenaw Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Monclova Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.
