Baseball Recap: Mount Pleasant Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mount Pleasant can now relate to. They fell just short of the Trinity Bulldogs by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Mount Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Trinity, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-7.

Mount Pleasant does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trinity, they will challenge West Stokes on Friday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
