Baseball Game Preview: Braxton County Eagles vs. Ritchie County Rebels

Braxton County is on a seven-game streak of home losses, and Ritchie County a 14-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Braxton County Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Ritchie County Rebels at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Braxton County came up short against Lincoln on Monday, falling 17-2.

Braxton County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Kelly, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Ritchie County fell victim to Wahama and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 10-0 to the Falcons.

Ritchie County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Braxton County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-19.

Braxton County beat Ritchie County 6-3 in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Rebels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
