Volleyball Recap: Hickory Victorious + How To Watch

Hickory's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Great Bridge Wildcats. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

Hickory was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 12-25, 25-18, 25-12.

Hickory can attribute much of their success to Arianna Vakhnin, who had 13 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Vakhnin has posted over her last seven contests. Leila Falvo also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Hickory's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Great Bridge, with the loss, they broke their seven-match winning streak and moved their record to 10-10.
