Softball Recap: Greenfield/Northwestern Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Greenfield/Northwestern can now relate to. They fell just short of the Lincolnwood Lancers by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Lancers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Greenfield/Northwestern saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jillian McAdams, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Greenfield/Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 11-16-1. As for Lincolnwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-16.

Greenfield/Northwestern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincolnwood, they will welcome Greenfield at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
