Davenport's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 119 rushing yards. Leonardo Sevillano was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making eight total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Jefferson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 322 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Belmont, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Manual Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
