Basketball Recap: Hermann Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Wins at Home

If Hermann was feeling good fresh off their 90-33 takedown of New Haven last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hermann Bearcats took a 40-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Montgomery County Wildcats. The matchup marked the Bearcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hermann's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4. As for Montgomery County, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-1.

Hermann and Montgomery County should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. Hermann will square off against Sullivan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 416 places (110 vs. 526). Hermann will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak alive. Similarly, Montgomery County (ranked 16th) will meet Van-Far (ranked 200th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
