Volleyball Recap: Epiphany Comes Up Short

Epiphany lost against Cape Fear Academy back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Falcons fell 3-1 to the Hurricanes.

The final score came out to 25-15, 23-25, 25-12, 25-12.

Lila Hammer went supernova For Cape Fear Academy., getting 29 assists and four digs. Hammer is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 13 games she's played dating back to last season.

Epiphany dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Cape Fear Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Epiphany will host New Bern Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cape Fear Academy, they will square off against Liberty Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
