Basketball Game Preview: Elkin Buckin' Elks vs. East Surry Cardinals + How To Watch

The Elkin Buckin' Elks are taking a road trip to face off against the East Surry Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Monday, Elkin was beaten by Forbush 59-15. The Buckin' Elks haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for East Surry against North Stokes on Tuesday as the team secured a 60-18 win.

East Surry's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Elkin, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Elkin suffered a grim 48-24 defeat to East Surry in their previous matchup back in December of 2019. Can the Buckin' Elks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
