Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Crismon Rattlers, falling 27-0.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Crismon, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will host Fairfax at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats will need to watch out since the Stampede have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Crismon, they will welcome ALA - Gilbert North at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rattlers 2.7, the Eagles 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
