Basketball Recap: Walton Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Truman, Walton was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They managed a 53-47 win over the Columbus Sharks. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Walton's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-11. As for Columbus, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Walton Wildcats duke it out with the Tuitt Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Columbus, they will be playing at home against Bronx High School of Science at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
