Softball Recap: Astoria/VIT Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Astoria/VIT's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Havana Ducks on Monday. The Rebels haven't had much luck with the Ducks recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Astoria/VIT's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Havana, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 9-1-1 record this season.

Astoria/VIT will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against West Prairie at 4:30 p.m. As for Havana, they are taking a road trip to square off against Illini West at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
