It was a good run, but Covenant Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their 13-game winning streak on Saturday. They came up short against the Sugar Hill Christian Academy Stallions, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Rams have suffered since August 22nd.

Their offense was headlined by Clara Roughton and McKenna King, who picked up five kills apiece. Roughton also shared the team's lead in assists with Charlotte DeBoard: they picked up seven each. Finally, Braxton Baird kept Covenant Christian Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Covenant Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Sugar Hill Christian Academy, the victory (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 20-5.

Covenant Christian Academy and Sugar Hill Christian Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Rams (ranked 180th) will meet North Georgia HomeSchool (ranked 367th) at 5:00 p.m. on the 30th. Meanwhile, Sugar Hill Christian Academy will challenge River Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (140 vs. 409).
