Har-Ber is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Willard. The Wildcats walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Tigers. The win was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won three matchups in a row.

RHETT RICHARDSON made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on NASH JEFFUS, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of LUKE CORNELISON, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Har-Ber's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Willard, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 31-6.

Looking ahead, Har-Ber will face off against Greenwood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Willard, they are taking a road trip to square off against Republic at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
