Recap: Golda Och Academy vs. American History Bald Eagles
Golda Och Academy fought the good fight in their overtime game against the American History Bald Eagles on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 41-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bald Eagles. Golda Och Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead American History to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ah'Zeah Woodard, who scored nine points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Edgar De Los Santos, who scored ten points.
Golda Och Academy dropped their record down to 2-10 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for American History, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-7.
Golda Och Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Weequahic at 4:00 p.m. on January 30th. Hopefully Weequahic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Sunday. As for American History, they will head out on the road to face off against Hoboken at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
