Blue Ridge hasn't had much luck against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond recently, but that could start to change  on Monday. Blue Ridge will host Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond  at 4:30  p.m. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Blue Ridge's pitching crew heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They came out on top against Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] by a score of  3-0. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Knights.

Not much got past  Ellie Schlieper, who gave up just  five  hits and racked up 14 Ks to keep Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] off the board. Schlieper has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Blue Ridge's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Addison Roos, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.  Presley Hardesty also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen bases of the season.
Meanwhile,  after only two  runs in their last  contest, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Heritage  on Thursday. The Knights blew past the Hawks 10-0. The  victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won six in a row.
  MACKENZIE CONDILL was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and two  RBI. That's the most  doubles  she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  ANNA RAWLINS, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run.
 Blue Ridge's  win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-7. As for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.
 Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond's hitters will have their work cut out for them  on Monday. Blue Ridge has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 9.8  strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, though, as  they've been averaging  only 3.1  strikeouts.
