Softball Game Preview: Dodd City Hornets vs. Saltillo Lions

For the second straight game, Dodd City will face off against Saltillo. The Hornets will square off against the Lions on Saturday.

Dodd City is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over Saltillo. The matchup marked the Hornets' most dominant victory of the season.

Kelsey Hewett made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. Hewett was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run.
