Baseball Recap: Osseo Orioles vs. Andover Huskies

Osseo had lost three straight at home, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 3-6 to make it four. They fell 9-6 to the Andover Huskies. If the Orioles were looking for revenge after losing 7-1 to the Huskies when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Andover, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games.

For Andover's part, Jack Simpson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and five unearned) runs on eight hits. Simpson has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
