Basketball Recap: Ryle Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lloyd Memorial on Sunday, Ryle came back down to earth. The Raiders were dealt an 82-51 defeat at the hands of the Covington Catholic Colonels on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Colonels are ranked first).

With the loss, Ryle broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 23-9. As for Covington Catholic, their win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 30-2.

As of now, neither Ryle nor the Colonels have any future games scheduled.
