Volleyball Recap: Southland College Prep Comes Up Short

Southland College Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Thornton Wildcats. Southland College Prep was not able to make up for their defeat to Thornton from their previous meeting back in August of 2023.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 33-31, 22-25, 26-24.

Southland College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Thornton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-7.
