Basketball Recap: Pocomoke Skates Past Salisbury Christian with Ease

There's no place like home for Pocomoke, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Salisbury Christian Salisbury Christian 84-31. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 53-17.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pocomoke to victory, but perhaps none more so than JAMIR ROBERTS, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 19 points in addition to five assists and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of MICHAEL AMES, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 19 points and four steals.

The win got Pocomoke back to even at 1-1. As for Salisbury Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Pocomoke won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Crisfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Salisbury Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 57-39 loss against Eastern Shore HomeSchool on the 9th.
