Baseball Recap: Cascade Takes a Loss

Cascade came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-1 to the Glacier Peak Grizzlies. The Bruins have struggled against the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Cascade saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Steven Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Cascade's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Glacier Peak, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-11 record this season.

Glacier Peak will head out on the road to challenge Mercer Island at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cascade will be paying especially close attention to the Grizzlies' game: after the Grizzlies face off against the Islanders, they'll take on Cascade again at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
