Dadeville skates past Northeast Vernon County with ease

The Dadeville Bearcats stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They blew past Northeast Vernon County 56-29 on the road. Given Dadeville's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 186th, while Northeast Vernon County is ranked 489th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Aidan Jarman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Dadeville's points. Another player making a difference was Chayse Coose, who scored six points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Dadeville has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Northeast Vernon County, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Dadeville will be playing in front of their home fans against Wheatland at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Northeast Vernon County, they will head out on the road to square off against Golden City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Golden City is on a three-game streak of home losses, Northeast Vernon County an eight-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
