Volleyball Recap: Tomas Comes Up Short

Tomas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Lamar Consolidated Mustangs.

While Tomas ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18.

Tomas' defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Lamar Consolidated, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Tomas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Bay City on the 30th. As for Lamar Consolidated, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Benjamin Davis on the 30th.
