Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity Christian). They blew past the Upson-Lee Knights 74-50 on Friday. The Lions have beaten the Knights the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Knights has come to flipping the script.

Trinity Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Madison Bennett out in front who shot 43% from the field en route to 27 points. Bennett is becoming a predictor of the Lions' success: when she posts at least 20 points the team is 3-1 (and 1-3 when she doesn't). Another player making a difference was Reese Anderson, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds.

The win got Trinity Christian back to even at 4-4. As for Upson-Lee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Trinity Christian has already played their next matchup, a 65-52 victory against East Coweta on the 13th. As for Upson-Lee, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-40 loss against Lamar County on the 13th.
