Sutton came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Sandy Creek, but Ryleigh Skalka wouldn't allow it. The Sandy Creek Cougars walked away with a 50-43 victory over the Sutton Mustangs on Tuesday thanks to Skalka, who went 7-for-14 on her way to 21 points and six rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Sandy Creek's points.

Sandy Creek's record now sits at 14-9. As for Sutton, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 18-7.
