Volleyball Game Preview: Elko Indians vs. Spring Creek Spartans + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Elko Indians and the Spring Creek Spartans will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Elko took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They blew past Lowry 3-0. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Buckaroos recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Elko was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Spring Creek played in-conference for the first time on Friday and got just the result they were looking for. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Lowry.

Spring Creek had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-9, 25-16, 25-15.

Spring Creek's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Elko, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Elko skirted past Spring Creek 3-2 in their previous meeting back in September. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
