Basketball Game Preview: Flomaton Hurricanes vs. T.R. Miller Tigers

Flomaton is 0-10 against T.R. Miller since February of 2020 but things could change on Monday. The Flomaton Hurricanes will look to defend their home court against the T.R. Miller Tigers at 7:30 p.m.

Last Friday, Flomaton had to suffer through a 57-24 loss at the hands of Escambia County. While losing is never fun, the Hurricanes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 234th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 100th).

Chloe Smith put forth a good effort for the losing side as she posted 12 points. Those 12 points gave her a new career-high. Jacie Himes was another key player, putting up six points.

Meanwhile, T.R. Miller put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Thomasville 66-38.

T.R. Miller pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.9 points. As for Flomaton, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3.
