Softball Game Preview: McMahon Senators vs. Stratford Red Devils

The McMahon Senators will venture away from home to face off against the Stratford Red Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. McMahon hasn't scored more than a single run for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

McMahon lost 8-1 to Greenwich on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Senators have suffered against the Cardinals since April 8, 2019.

Stratford not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 11th (when they won 22-2). They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over Waterbury Career Academy. Considering the Red Devils have won six contests by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

McMahon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Stratford, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-10 record.
