South Florence is a perfect 7-0 against Darlington since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bruins will look to defend their home pitch against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. South Florence's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for South Florence's offense. They came up short against Carolina Forest on Tuesday, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Darlington ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Lakewood 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Darlington were the better team in the second half.

Marquel Lucas was the driving force of Darlington's attack as he scored both of Darlington's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

Darlington's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for South Florence, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything went South Florence's way against Darlington in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as South Florence made off with a 5-0 victory. Will the Bruins repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
