Baseball Recap: Commerce Takes a Loss

Commerce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 5-0 to the Afton Eagles. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Commerce's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Afton, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

While Commerce had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
