Baseball Game Preview: Sharyland Rattlers vs. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas

For the second straight game, Sharyland will face off against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest. Sharyland will be playing in front of their home fans against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sharyland is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

Sharyland's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest 8-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Rattlers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Santiago Balderas made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.
